Three Audio Accessories Your Older Car Could Use To Modernise It

Gavin Vasquez

Owning a car in Australia can sometimes feel like a bit of a necessity, with long distances between cities. Even the outer suburbs can feel like they are in a different state sometimes. Most of the time your first or second car is usually one that is preowned and from a time where your musical features in a car were far less standard. Instead of spending twenty-five to thirty thousand dollars for the latest car with a good system, why not spend a fraction of that to upgrade your car audio accessories? If your car still works and has good mileage, then all it might take is a little tweak here and a small addition there and it could last you for many more years to come.

Bluetooth Input

Bluetooth is becoming more and more ubiquitous in cars not just because it allows you to play your music from your phone with no cables, but also because it lets you take incoming calls without taking your hands off the wheel. A Bluetooth component in your car is becoming very important if you want to stay up to date on current events at work while also enjoying good music or a podcast on those long trips. These additions can come with an entirely new music system or be added to your current one, making the choice easy for you, whatever you want.

More Speakers

Older cars can be a bit stingy when it comes to the number of speakers they have, and so one of the first car audio accessories many people put in are new or additional speakers. Modern cars sometimes come with seven or more speakers, and while you might not need that many, four or five is a good starting point for fully immersive sound. You can have them installed almost anywhere in the car, with long connective cables able to be run through the car from your centre console, out of sight and out of mind.

More Control

If you are someone who really cares about how they consume their music, then you probably hate the current mix your car came with. Maybe it is too bassy or too tinny, or some other aspect is not to your liking. By installing a new mixer and a new system, you can control individual aspects of the music playback and also choose which speakers are used so that you feel more at the centre of where the sound is directed. Modern cars have this as standard, but it is easy enough to install into older cars if this is important to you.

About Me
Do You Want a Cool Looking Car?

If you want a cool looking car, you have come to the right place. For many years, I was driving around the streets of Sydney in a car which did not look very cool. It was all I could afford at the time and I thought I would just have to put up with it until I could afford something better. However, everything changed for the better when I was introduced to the world of auto accessories. I soon discovered that by installing a few accessories, I could make my car look much cooler. I hope this blog inspires you to accessorise your car.
